The International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is an annual individual and team competition in the Natural Sciences for students who are under sixteen years old on 31st December of the competition year. 



5- Blastoff National Science and Engineering Fair (Grade 9 to 12)


Blastoff is the National Science and Engineering Fair in Egypt organized by Ideas Gym in partnership with Nile University .

The Science Fair is a celebration for young researchers and engineers through presenting their findings to the world during the finals.

Students and Teachers work on real research and engineering projects through applying scientific research methodology and engineering process.

I. PURPOSE
(I)    Enhance science research among school students & arouse public understanding of science.
(II)    Offer students an opportunity to present research projects to Research community, leaders, and other students and to public.
(III)    Promote cross-cultural communication and educational exchange.

1- Students must apply in team


2- Student participants must be in grades 9-12 and not have reached age 20 on or before Jan. 20th, 2017.

The Egyptian Science and Engineering Olympiad is a national science and engineering fair and Olympiad for schools. The Program focuses on improving teachers and students’ skills and experience in Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics (STEM) fields in Egypt. 

Teachers and Students in schools will participate in training programs to prepare them to have their own school science and engineering fair and Olympiad and then qualify the winners to the city fair and Olympiad. Top winners from each city will compete at the National Science and Engineering Fair and Olympiad.
